Welcome
On behalf of the school community I would like to welcome you to our school website.
Corran College is a co-educational, non-denominational school.
Since its establishment in 1934 the school has provided a wide range of educational opportunities in the community. Over the years it has had to adapt to the many changes in education.
The ethos of Corran College is inclusive, caring and community focused. The Admissions policy promotes equality of access and participation. The school is committed to providing high quality learning experiences for all of its students. It is our vision that each student will discover their inherent abilities and develop them through the acquisition of new ideas and information and that this will result in the formation of happy well-adjusted, critically- thinking adults.
High academic standards are maintained, and teaching is carried out with diligence and enthusiasm thus providing students with the skills needed to reach their potential.
As Principal I am proud to be part of a community of highly qualified, dedicated professionals who strive to achieve high standards in their work. Our teachers work hard to ensure students experience success. This success in turn is firmly rooted in the excellent relationship between teachers and students, working together in an atmosphere of mutual respect. The professionalism, commitment and dedication of our teaching staff is second to none.
The school is modern and well equipped. The school has two dedicated I.T. rooms and Broadband is available throughout the school.
In addition, we provide a broad range of sporting and extra-curricular activities which helps to focus on the social and personal development of our students.
